HIPAA awareness and best practices

Being mindful of audio and visual background details
Coordinating closely with facility staff on what is appropriate to film
Flagging and excluding any footage that could raise privacy concerns

Permissions and consent

Consent is never assumed.

Before filming begins, we work with your team to:

Confirm who may and may not appear on camera
Ensure signed release forms are in place
Track changes in permission status over time
Plan shoots to avoid mixing permitted and non-permitted individuals

Permissions are reviewed prior to every shoot so content remains compliant and usable.

Review, control, and approval

Our clients maintain control over their content at all times.

Videos are reviewed before publication
Concerns can be addressed prior to sharing
Footage that does not meet privacy expectations is excluded

When Living Stories Media manages social posting or website updates, we follow your approval workflows and posting guidelines.
